By registering as a doctor on CareDoc, you agree to follow these Terms for Doctor and any related platform policies, operational notices, and lawful instructions issued by Care-box Limited. If you do not agree with these terms, you should not create or use a doctor account on CareDoc.
2. Doctor Eligibility
To use CareDoc as a doctor, you should only register if you are legally and professionally entitled to do so.
- You must provide accurate professional information, including registration or licensing details where required.
- You are responsible for ensuring that your medical practice, advice, and consultations are lawful in your jurisdiction.
- If your registration, license, or right to practice changes, you should update your information promptly.
3. Account and Profile Accuracy
You are responsible for the accuracy of your CareDoc doctor profile, including your name, qualifications, designation, specialities, consultation information, schedules, and pricing data shown through the platform.
- You must not create misleading, false, or impersonated profiles.
- You must keep your login credentials secure and not allow unauthorized use of your account.
- You remain responsible for actions performed through your doctor account unless you report misuse promptly.
4. Professional Conduct
Doctors using CareDoc are expected to maintain professional behavior consistent with patient safety and ethical medical practice.
- Communicate with patients respectfully, clearly, and responsibly.
- Avoid abusive, discriminatory, fraudulent, misleading, or harmful conduct.
- Do not use the platform for unlawful prescriptions, unauthorized products, or improper medical claims.
- Where a case is not suitable for online consultation, you should advise the patient appropriately.
5. Appointments and Consultations
CareDoc may support physical appointments, scheduled virtual consultations, follow-up bookings, and related communication workflows. You are responsible for the quality and appropriateness of the professional service you provide through the platform.
- You should keep schedules, availability, and consultation methods reasonably up to date.
- You should join consultations on time where practical and manage delays responsibly.
- You should only accept, confirm, or continue appointments that you are reasonably able to fulfill.
6. Prescriptions and Medical Records
CareDoc may allow doctors to create digital prescriptions, maintain consultation records, and review patient history within the platform. You are responsible for the medical accuracy and legal appropriateness of prescriptions, diagnoses, advice, and related documentation you create.
- You should review available patient details carefully before issuing prescriptions.
- You should avoid incomplete, misleading, or unsafe entries in digital medical records.
- You remain professionally responsible for your own clinical decisions made through or outside the platform.
7. Fees, Payments, and Payouts
CareDoc may display consultation fees, follow-up rules, discounts, payment status, and doctor payout records. Where patient payments are collected through the platform, payout timing, deductions, taxes, gateway charges, or related operational handling may be applied according to platform settings or business arrangements.
- You should ensure the consultation fees you publish are accurate and kept current.
- Any platform deductions, VAT, gateway charges, or payout timing may be subject to operational policy.
- Care-box Limited may delay, review, adjust, or withhold payout processing where fraud, disputes, compliance issues, or technical irregularities are suspected.
8. Privacy and Confidentiality
Patient information handled through CareDoc may include highly sensitive personal and medical data. You agree to use such information only for legitimate healthcare, follow-up, scheduling, documentation, or authorized support purposes connected to the platform.
- You must not misuse, sell, or disclose patient information without lawful justification.
- You should take reasonable care when accessing CareDoc on personal devices or shared environments.
- You are expected to follow applicable professional and legal confidentiality duties.
9. Platform Content and Restrictions
You may upload professional content, profile text, degree information, schedules, logos, and related materials to your CareDoc presence. You should only upload materials that you are allowed to use.
- You must not upload unlawful, infringing, misleading, obscene, or harmful content.
- Care-box Limited may moderate, hide, edit, or remove content that violates policy or creates operational risk.
- Platform tools, data, and software logic remain subject to CareDoc system rules and platform ownership rights.
10. Suspension or Removal
Care-box Limited may review, restrict, suspend, or remove doctor access to CareDoc where necessary for safety, compliance, fraud prevention, platform integrity, dispute handling, account misuse, or breach of these terms.
- Suspension may be temporary or permanent depending on the seriousness of the issue.
- Public visibility, live consultation access, subscription benefits, or payout processing may also be limited during review.
11. Liability and Service Limits
CareDoc is a digital platform that helps enable workflow, communication, recordkeeping, and appointment handling. It does not replace a doctor’s independent professional judgment, licensing obligations, or legal responsibilities. Doctors remain responsible for their own advice, prescriptions, treatment decisions, and patient interactions.
Care-box Limited does not guarantee uninterrupted availability of the platform and may face outages, maintenance windows, third-party failures, network issues, or regulatory constraints from time to time.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may revise these Terms for Doctor from time to time to reflect service updates, legal requirements, operational changes, product improvements, or security practices. Continued use of CareDoc after updates may be treated as continued acceptance of the revised terms.
